How did you get started in the pest management industry?

My dad started in the business working for another pest control company in the 70's.  He started  ZipZap Termite & Pest Control in Mesa, Arizona in the early 80’s. I worked with my dad until I decided to move to Kansas City to start ZipZap Termite & Pest Control in Kansas City, my dad was very supportive with my decision.

Tell us your most memorable moment so far in your career in the pest management industry.

My most memorable moment in my career in the pest management industry is when I earned my BCE. Board Certified Entomologist with the Entomological Society of America.  I am also very proud to have my three children working in the company.  

What is the guiding principal behind your success with ZipZap Termite & Pest Control?

Our guiding principal behind our success is how we treat each and every one of our customers. We are a hometown born company providing service to the same neighbors we grew up with. We treat our customers how we want to be treated and it has worked for 25 years. 

Why did your company choose to earn the QualityPro accreditation?

We chose to earn the QulityPro accreditation to show, we are a company that does not just talk about being the best in our community we prove it by going above and beyond. The QualityPro logo allows customers the opportunity to know they are getting the very best. 

Overall, what do you think the most valuable aspect of QualityPro is to your company?

We think the most valuable aspect of QualityPro is how our employees feel about it. The QualityPro designation allows our employees to feel proud of the company they work for. Being a QualityPro company gives you a leg up when customers are looking for a great company to service their home. They know who to Trust. This gives pride to our employees.
