Business Opportunities
QualityPro is recognized by a number of organizations throughout the United States and Canada who understand the importance of hiring a pest management company that holds itself to the highest standard of excellence. By rewarding accreditation, these organizations ensure the companies they hire are the best in the pest management industry. From bid specifications and contracts to recommendations on how to hire a pest management professional, QualityPro is honored to be referenced in procurement and policy.
EPA Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program (PESP)
QualityPro accredited companies and GreenPro certified services are recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protections Agency’s (EPA) Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program (PESP). This program allows companies to partner with the EPA by submitting a strategy to the department and following reporting guidelines. Reserved only for those companies that ascribe to the highest principals, the Gold Standard given by EPA allows companies to use limited marketing claims and win awards and recognition by the department for their commitment to integrated pest management techniques.

HUD Mark to Market Incentive Program
In July of 2007 HUD introduced its Green Initiative, a nationwide pilot initiative to encourage owners and purchasers of affordable, multifamily properties to rehabilitate and operate their properties using sustainable Green Building principles. These principles comprise sustainability, energy efficiency, recycling, and indoor air quality, and incorporate the "Healthy Housing" approach pioneered by HUD. The Green Initiative will focus on properties within HUD's Section 8 portfolio, specifically properties in the Mark to Market (M2M) Program administered by the Office of Affordable Housing Preservation (OAHP).
As part of the HUD M2M standards there is a requirement that companies must be QualityPro accredited to be able to provide these properties with the initial IPM assessment. For more information on the HUD M2M program and qualifications click here.
Green Restaurant Association
The Green Restaurant Association is a national non-profit organization that provides a convenient and cost-effective way for restaurants, manufacturers, distributors and consumers to become more environmentally responsible. As part of their certification standards for restaurants to become Green, points are awarded for pest management companies that have earned the QualityPro accreditation and perform GreenPro certified service at the restaurant. USGBC LEED Building Certification
Is a property you service going for LEED certification? You can help them earn 1 credit for IPM and additional points for pilot credits.
GreenPro, QualityPro's green service certification, has been referenced in the IPM credits of the past few versions of LEED. LEED buildings are certifying and re-certifying under LEED v4.1. The property will want a copy of your company's current QualityPro and GreenPro certificate to earn credits under Building Operations & Maintenance. Click here to learn more.
